We are pleased to announce the RE-OPENING of the Cottage Place Gallery! Join us on Saturday, June 11th, 2022 from noon to 5pm for the opening reception of Works by Anne C. Winner. The exhibition will be on view until early July.
Artist’s Statement
Living at the foot of the Ramapo Mountains and on the banks of the Mahwah River, I have been provided with a rich, unending source of nature’s bounty. Combining that with the materials of my art-making – pencil and charcoal, acrylic paint, collage, oil sticks, and sometimes, found objects – I have everything I need to pay visual tribute to the gifts of this small corner of our planet earth.
The Cottage Place Gallery / Unitarian Society of Ridgewood are part of this year’s Arts Amble 2022, organized by Creative Bergen. In addition to the re-opening of the Cottage Place Gallery, USR will be hosting “Soft Landing,” a group show of seven visual artists in the Fellowship Room on June 11th, as well as music, dance, and a special concert by Ron Levy and Kristen Plumley on Sunday, June 12th.
