Charles Loflin, Executive Director of Unitarian Universalist FaithAction NJ<\/a> will lead our service this Sunday, May 29. His message is entitled \u201cDoing What Must Be Done.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Charles says, \u201cSocial justice work is integral to Unitarian Universalism but sometimes a source of tension among and within congregations.\u201d He cites UU theologian James Luther Adams who suggests freedom of belief demands social justice action. The service will answer these questions: \u201cHow do we collectively determine where to put our energies? What is the \u2018work that must be done\u2019?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charles Loflin is Executive Director of Unitarian Universalist FaithAction NJ. A 2021 MDiv recipient from Meadville Lombard Theological Seminary, he served as ministerial intern at the Morristown UU Fellowship 2020-2021. In addition to his experience in ministry, Charles brings to UU FaithAction NJ many years of technical experience as a developer of web applications and social media integrations. With all the tools of technology, covenant and grace, Charles is leading UUFANJ in the Zoom age to come together as a faith movement in New Jersey to voice UU values.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
