Every year, many UU congregations mark the federal holiday celebrating the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. In this service, we explore the idea of optimism, while affirming the value of communities that help hold our fears and hopes.
On this first Sunday in January, join us as we consider how we might embrace a sense of fullness in our lives– in terms of time, energy, resources and more. We won’t make resolutions, but we’ll consider the possibilities the new year brings us.
We will learn about the life that teems beneath the snow as a lesson for all of us in trusting the unseen and deepening our willingness to have faith.
