With gratitude for all the input from the congregation at the April 28 Budget Town Hall, the Board of Trustees will hold its monthly meeting tonight at 7 PM to continue the work of dealing with our projected budget shortfall.
We will include these discussion items:
Things we can start now
- Real Estate analysis
- Grant-writing team – for internal USR projects and/or social justice causes
- Fund-raisers team — Ideas? People to run them?
- Welcoming and Participation work — Membership & Outreach/PR
- Strategic Planning Committee
- Planned Giving — promoting charitable options that benefit USR longterm
- Bylaw Revision Task Force (focused on clarifying the Endowment section)
- Other?
Things that will wait for Rev. Sarah’s return
- Mission Review–Do we need it? If so, how to do it expeditiously?
- Anything to do with salary and payroll cuts
- Revisiting RE – staff/volunteer implications, and centrality of RE in USR’s Mission
- Other?
