My dear friends,
Every year, on the evening before Christmas, as the sun sets low in the sky, we celebrate together with singing and readings and candlelight. Although we will be physically distanced this year, still we will gather together to remember the story of Jesus’ birth, the power of community, and the message of love.
Tomorrow, at 4 30pm, in our normal Sunday Service zoom room, we will begin with half an hour of holiday music. Promptly at 5pm, we will begin our service. Hopefully you received your bag with candles in it. If not, feel free to use any candle you have at home. Just have it nearby, as we will light them during the service.
This year has been altogether strange, challenging, even horrible at times. And still, there is much to be grateful for; including this beautiful and loving community of seekers that together we share and build. I can’t wait to see your faces tomorrow.
Happy day before Christmas Eve,
Rev. Sarah
